Dear UTIS Community,
This book presents a collection of papers from the 13th International Conference on Machining (UTIS 2025), held from 30 October to 02 November 2025 at the Juju Premier Palace Hotel, Kemer, Antalya, Türkiye.
The UTIS conference series provides an established international forum for researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to exchange knowledge and discuss recent developments in machining science and technology. Since its inception, UTIS has promoted interdisciplinary interaction and collaboration, contributing to the formation of research networks, focused discussion groups, and joint R&D initiatives. The 13th edition of the conference continued this tradition by fostering constructive dialogue and encouraging innovative approaches to current and emerging challenges in the field.
The contributions included in this book were presented at UTIS 2025 and are published either as abstracts or full-length papers, according to the authors’ preferences. All papers reflect the scientific scope and technical diversity of the conference.
It is anticipated that this book will serve as a useful reference for researchers, engineers, and practitioners, and support further advances in machining research and applications. The UTIS Steering Committee looks forward to the continued development of the UTIS conference series in the years to come.
